The ongoing conflict between Iran and Israel entered its fourth day on Monday, as both countries continued to target key sites over the weekend.

At least 224 people in Iran have been killed since Friday, 90% of them civilians, according to the Iranian Health Ministry. In Israel, at least 24 people have been killed, many also civilians, according to official figures.

On Saturday, Iranian state media reported that missiles struck The Kirya, Israel’s main military headquarters in Tel Aviv, hitting the Marganit Tower. Israeli media said no one was killed, but five nearby civilians were injured by shrapnel.

Fox News correspondent Trey Yingst described the Kirya as “Israel’s version of the Pentagon” while reporting from the scene.

Iran also struck the Bazan oil refinery in Haifa on Sunday, killing three and injuring two.

According to the Israeli Prime Minister’s Office, Iran has launched 370 ballistic missiles toward Israel since Friday, many of which struck multiple cities after overwhelming the Iron Dome air defense system. In response, Israel has hit multiple military and civilian sites in Iran over the weekend and into Monday.

On Monday night, Iranian state TV broadcaster IRIB’s headquarters was hit in Tehran during live coverage, though casualty figures have not yet been released.

Israeli military spokesperson Brig. Gen. Effie Defrin said Israel had “achieved full aerial superiority over Tehran’s skies,” and claimed the military destroyed one-third of Iran’s surface-to-air missile stockpile and “10 command centers belonging to Iran's Quds Force,” according to the Associated Press.

The Quds Force is the intelligence wing of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps.

Israeli targets reportedly included a missile base, a hospital in Kermanshah, a military facility, two oil refineries near Tehran on Sunday, and the capital’s airport, which was struck on Saturday.

On Monday, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said in a press conference that the attacks had set Iran’s nuclear program back “a very, very long time,” adding, “We are on our way to complete victory.”

US involvement in the conflict remains limited. President Donald Trump reportedly objected to an Israeli plan to assassinate Iranian Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei. At the G7 summit in Canada, Trump told reporters he “doesn’t want to talk about” US military involvement but noted Iran “should talk immediately.” Multiple news outlets reported that Trump was referring to an end to the conflict and potentially continuing negotiations with Iran over its nuclear program.

After Friday’s Israeli strikes however, Iranian officials informed Oman that they would no longer participate in the scheduled talks, the latest of which had been planned for Sunday.
