Video footage over the weekend showed the inside of a mosque in the West Bank destroyed by the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) after it was allegedly used as a base of operations.

The Abu Bakr al-Siddiq Mosque, located in the Nur Shams refugee camp in the northeastern part of the territory, appeared gutted, with debris scattered across the prayer area.

According to Eye on Palestine, a social media account releasing daily footage from the West Bank and Gaza, Israel has been conducting raids throughout the occupied Palestinian territory for over 150 days.

Using religious structures for military purposes is widely seen as a violation of international law.
