Israeli attacks across the Gaza Strip have killed at least 92 Palestinians, including 16 waiting to receive humanitarian assistance and 13 who were charging their electrical devices in Al Shati Refugee Camp on Thursday.

221 Gazans were also admitted to hospitals across the enclave, according to the Gaza Health Ministry.

Moreover, starving Palestinians stationed their tents near an aid distribution center run by the Gaza Humanitarian Foundation (GHF), a privately owned organization backed by the United States and Israel but condemned by the United Nations for alleged violations of international law.

The area was close to the Netzarim Corridor, which splits north and south Gaza. According to Al Jazeera, the crowd of Palestinians expected to obtain aid supplies in the morning.

The Israeli military fired on the Palestinians with tanks, aircrafts, and quadcopter bombs, according to eyewitness Bassam Abu Shaar who told the Agence France-Presse News Agency (AFP).

“We couldn’t help them or even escape ourselves,” he said, noting that it was impossible for people to escape the Israeli attacks due to the large crowds.

Israeli attacks on Palestinians waiting to receive aid have become a near-daily occurrence since late May.

Al Jazeera’s Tareq Abu Azzoum reported that Gazans have been “forced to move to these designated centres” to get essential aid that, according to nutritional experts, contain “low nutritional value.”

Similar to previous incidents, the Israeli military has since told Reuters that they fired warning shots to alert the Palestinians, adding that they are supposedly unaware of injuries in the incident.
