Club Deportivo Palestino beat A.C Barnechea 3-0 on Sunday.

Founded in 1920 by Palestinian immigrants, the Club has been a longstanding advocate for Palestinian rights, creating international impact both on and off the pitch.

Chile is home to around 500,000 Palestinians, the largest Palestinian diaspora outside of the Middle East, so much so that there is an old Chilean saying: “In every town there are three things: a priest, a policeman, and a Palestinian.”
